Jay Wooten earned a master of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Since 2005, he has been involved in ministry to multiple county jails, a mental hospital, and a youth incarceration facility. He has had the opportunity to preach in many churches in North Carolina and Virginia. He also participates in an online ministry to a closed country.
