Rich’s Story

A former atheist who earned graduate degrees (M.S., Ph.D.) from the University of Georgia in Psychology with concentrations in biological psychology, neuroscience, and psychopharmacology wrote the following primer, Dr. Rich Suplita has published in high-impact, peer-reviewed, top-tier scientific journals like Nature, Neuroscience, Neuropharmacology, American Association of Pharmacological Sciences Journal, and Recent Advances in the Pharmacology and Physiology of Cannabinoids. Like many other postsecondary secular academics, Dr. Suplita abandoned the faith he learned as a child sometime during his trek through higher education.

Through thoughtful consideration of the nature of truth and a careful re-examination of the legal-historical pieces of evidence for Jesus of Nazareth, Dr. Suplita (Rich) abandoned atheism and acknowledged that Jesus was the most fascinating and influential human ever to live. Later, through an open-minded reading of the Gospel of John, willing to go wherever the evidence led, Rich embraced the Christian faith and eventually surrendered his life to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
